Moth Cuff

Moth Cuff

The texture in this piece came from the top of an old Japanese iron box that my Dad gave me.

I love it and use it a lot for metal clay pieces.

I also love the natural elements used in Japanese design, so this was a no-brainer!

You make very beautiful things. I am just learning how to do metal clay, and your designs are very inspirational. Thank you for sharing!

Melanie,
Please explore every avenue -- metal clay is so versatile. You can do almost anything with it if you think about it for a while.
I mix and match techniques all the time: bead stringing, my old, old macrame stuff from the 1960's, cold connections, etc. Just work with it -- you'll LOVE the results.
