Natural African Shell, Blue Lace Agate and Pearl Necklace.
This is one of the most beautiful shells I've ever found. I found it here, along the rocky shores of South Africa. It has the most incredible BLUE in it! It also has rings of deep chocolate brown, one of white, and the center is a dark caramel color.
I glued black twine on the back of the shell and made a bail.
I strung blue lace agate chips, which are the exact blue in the shell, freshwater pearls and copper colored glass seed beads on nylon coated stainless steel for strength and durability and used a lobster claw clasp.
The shell measures approximately 4.5cm x 3cm (1 3/4 x just over 1 inch).
The necklace measures 44cm (17 1/4 inches) with an extension chain of 6cm (2 1/4 inches).
