"Nautilus Navigator"

Inspired by Jules Verne's

Inspired by Jules Verne's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea"

A glass taxidermy shark's eye is surrounded by antiqued wings, vintage watch parts, and silver antiqued filigree.

Suspended on a chain of beautiful black faceted vintage beads and topped off with a heavy, handforged brass clasp.

I apply the patina myself and use an acrylic clearcoat to seal in the lovely antique finish.

A truly breathtaking piece!

Captain Nemo's secret
by: Rena

It is indeed breathtaking - and I LOVE the touch of using a shark's eye for Captain Nemo's navigation tool! Such a cool detail.

Great steampunk style, and I love the authentic-looking antiquey-ness.

A truly luminous piece of enchanting drama!
