Night Out - Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings Set

For a special occasion . . .

For a special occasion . . .

I've created this set of necklace, bracelet and earrings for some special occasion like date of your dreams or dinner at a fancy restaurant... Or any other occasion you can think of.

It is very laconic yet very completed. Elegant and charming, in classical combination of black and gold - what can be better?

This jewelry set is made out of seed beads.

I also used small yellow-golden polymer clay beads in the middle of each flower and black agate beads.

This set took long time to make but is well worth it!

While I like the jewelry, what I really love is the picture. You did a great job with it! What kind of camera did you use? (If I remember correctly, Rena, you do not recommend using a model to photograph jewelry?) What do you think if this one?

Thanks!

Thank you all, girls, for your kind comments!
Roslyn, thanks for comment on my picture! I use a little old cam which only makes up to 2 Mega Pixels pictures and it's tough to make a good picture with it.
By the way, I am the model :D
I try to include a photo with a jewelry on a person to every item description when I am selling jewelry so people could see how it "sits" on a body and all the proportions, etc.

Roslyn - showing jewelry on live models
by: Rena

Hi Roslyn,

Thanks for asking! :o)

I can see both sides of using live models for jewelry photos.

Olga's photo above definitely helps show her lovely jewelry as a set, and how the pieces all work together - which would be hard to achieve as effectively without a live model.

I don't want to sidetrack this discussion from Olga's beautiful "Night Out" jewelry - so I've taken the pro's and con's of Using Live Models when Photographing Jewelry - Yes or No? over to my blog for anyone who'd like to share their thoughts about it.

Meanwhile, please continue to enjoy and discuss Olga's jewelry here on this page! :o)
