Ocean Depth polymer clay necklace with seed beading Detail of mokume gane technique on cabochons

I absolutely love polymer clay! And I also love seed beads. In this necklace I've combined the two and it ended up being an absolutely gorgeous necklace. I've used Mokume Gane technique for cabochons and beaded over them with seed beads. To finish the necklace, I've used glass beads and black onyx beads.

Hope this piece of jewelry will inspire someone else to make something beautiful!

Watery wonderland

Your polymer clay pieces here do a wonderful job of conveying water and aquatic life. I love the seed bead bezels for the clay cabochons, and the looping, lacy bead strands that form the necklace around them.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful, watery necklace with us!

Wow, I love this piece!! I see that you used peyote stitch around the focal clay beads you made. So inspiring... now I want to try something like this!! :-) Beautiful necklace!!
