Ocean Sunset

Czech glass and copper, with copper-colored pewter charms

My husband and I just got back from a vacation down in Galveston, Texas, on the Gulf Coast. Although it rained every single day (from Hurricane Alex) I was still inspired to make this bracelet in colors that remind me of the soft sunsets over the ocean!

I used czech glass, copper beads and some sweet copper colored pewter charms of sand dollars, a seahorse and starfish.

I love our beautiful Gulf and pray the oil spill can be stopped soon!

I love the elements you combined in this bracelet, Joan! You always find really cool components, and then put them together in such artistic ways.

It's interesting to see an ocean-inspired piece that doesn't use any blues or blue-greens.

Also, the stone you chose for the photo background is wonderful with this bracelet!
