Outer Space Earrings

Beam me up in style! Fun lampwork earrings with a UFO look

I love polka dots! When I saw these lamp-work disk beads by Fairhill Designs of Minnesota, my heart said "yes, yes" and my pocket book said "no, no."

You can see who won that argument.

The disk shape and dots on the lamp-work beads reminded me of a space ship (not that I've actually ever seen one).

When thinking about what I might do with them, I remembered two Bali Sterling disk beads I stashed away several years ago, waiting for just the right opportunity.

I handmade the ear-wires, from one of Rena's "how-to" tips, in a style I thought would fit a couple of ear worthy space objects.

Such fun!

Ah, yes, these capture the imagination. Lovely to look at as well. Well done, they have started me thinking about what I have in my boxes.

The pocketbook didn't have a chance of winning!

I loved the tussle between your heart and your pocketbook! :o) I can so relate.

I love the space-age look of these earrings - they're fun as well as beautiful.

From Gulf Breeze ... Home of the UFO

Sharon, these are too cool. I really dig them. And they really DO make you think of UFOs ... and I should know. I'm right here on the banks of Gulf Breeze, Florida ... famous for it's many sightings. :)
