Pearls upon pearls

I enjoyed making this piece so much. However I have had people look at it and say "how lovely, but too fancy for me".

I'm not sure of 'my' style. I enjoy wedding, gothic and belly dance pieces. These are all dramatic; I however am not.

I would appreciate any comments.

I have had a market stall for about six months two years ago and now I feel a little bit out of the loop.

I have bought your book and I want to start selling again.

I could easily see this fantastic choker working with all kinds of outfits - and to me the outfit would determine how fancy, trendy, classic, etc. it looks that day.

This looks like a very well-crafted piece - lovely work and a great design!

Regarding making dramatic pieces that aren't necessarily your style - maybe part of you really appreciates the excitement and aesthetic value of dramatic and fabulous styles, even though you wouldn't wear them yourself.

There are certainly jewelry customers for dramatic, eye-grabbing pieces like this. And when they see a unique piece of jewelry that's their style, they tend to fall completely in love with it at first site.

People with dramatic personal style can be very dedicated jewelry customers, and always very eager to see your latest pieces.

If that's the style you love to create, you may want to start cultivating customers with dramatic personal style.

Hi kate, don't depair, I agree with Rena. The buyer for this piece is out there and when they see it they will immediately want to add it to their collection. I have made pieces that I would not wear and wasn't sure they would sell and some sold immediatley and some took awhile. Keep creating!

I love your design and I'm one who also designs pieces that I wouldn't/couldn't wear, but eventually they find their rightful owner and it makes both of us very happy!
