Primitive Impressions

by Joan Williams
(Springfield, MO)

I was in the mood the other day to make something kind of earthy
and rough hewn, so I got out these primitive looking etched agate
barrel beads and pendant. I wired them together along with some
picasso finish czech glass and a few turquoise beads for a necklace
that'll look good with heavier winter tops and sweaters.

Great

Wonderful necklace. You are right, this would look great with a sweater. I like the heaviness of it without it being bulky or overpowering.

Love this

The necklace is gorgeous in a rustic, earthy way. I really love it! Can you tell mw what kind of wire you used? I like the look of it with the beads you chose.

Thanks to all of you for your kind comments!

April, I used 18 gauge Parawire - it's made by Vintaj and I buy it at Hobby Lobby, but any soft wire will work.
