Quartz and Pearl Blend

Quartz Mix

Had a few of these large faceted rose quartz beads leftover from another project. Added a handful of smooth rock crystal nuggets, pink freshwater pearls, and white glass pearls. Finished off with a sterling silver chain and handmade clasp. Played around a bit with the asymmetrical design to get the right color and weight balance.

This is always a little tricky for me, requiring patience on my part. Completed the set with a pair of simple rock crystal earrings.

Lynda, I really like the contrast between the lovely, delicate colors and the slightly rustic nature of the components. I think you did a great job with the asymmetry - nicely done without being overdone.

The simple rock quartz earrings are a perfect companion - they match the necklace without being "matchy", and don't overpower it.
