Lime Green Glass Pendant

Lime Green Glass Pendant

This piece of recycled glass is one of my favorite colors! I can't remember where I got it, but it came to me already tumbled smooth and with a nice matte finish.

It isn't seaglass, but it reminds me of it.

I threaded a piece of 20-gauge, half-hard, sterling silver wire through the hole and made a fair-sized spiral for the front of the pendant.

For the back, I bent the remaining wire upward and created a wrapped-loop bail.

See my tutorial on how to make a pendant like this.

I usually wear this pendant on my favorite black leather choker cord - and it goes with nearly everything in my closet!

I really like the simplicity of this design.

The unadorned - but for the tiny, symbolic, ancient symbol of the spiral against the beautiful green glass - makes this a piece I would wear everyday and feel that it's "just right".
