Red Rose Handmade Pendant

A one of a kind piece of jewelry. This could be a wonderful present for yourself or a loved one.

A collaboration of original metalsmithing with silver and an oil painting of a vibrant classical Red Rose as the symbol of love. Pendant and oil painting are both handmade with love and passion.

The plain look of the round sterling silver pendant (matte) makes a special combination with the original oil painting of the rose, in impressionistic/impasto style. The detail of the handmade silver loop makes the pendant modern and elegant.

My husband Cor van der Plaat made this silver (925, first quality) pendant especially for this oil painting I made. The chain is also sterling silver, first quality, with lobster claw closure, also silver.



The tiny piece of canvas with the oil painting is sunk into the silver pendant.

Weight of the pendant: 15 gram, massive silver.
On the back of the pendant is a tiny mark ".925".

The painting is on canvas, glued into the pendant and varnished for protection.
