Reversible Art Necklace Spring and Winter Tree Original Oil Paintings

Tree in winter - wearable oil painting

Tree in winter - wearable oil painting

Tree in winter - wearable oil painting On the other side - tree in spring original oil painting Miniature oil painting necklace Tiny wearable oil painting by Nancy van den Boom

This is wearable art in a reversible pendant.

Two original tiny vibrant oil paintings on canvas of 2 trees (spring and winter) painted by me, locked together in an antique silverplated glass locket frame I purchased in an Etsy-shop, becoming a lovely necklace for yourself or a unique present for a loved one!

It's a challenge to paint so tiny and big fun to manage finally!

You can choose yourself which side you wear today!

Measurement:

The pendant is about 1 square inch (24mm) on a 18 inch (50 cm) antique silver plated brass chain with lobster clasp.

The locket can be opened on the top. The paintings are protected by clear glass.

I loved making these miniature paintings for the purpose of wearable art.

Tree seasons

I love the idea of having winter on one side, and spring on the other! What a neat idea for a reversible pendant.

Thank you for sharing this here, Nancy - I love your work!

A variation on paintings
by: Barbara Jacquin

Since I love to paint, I can see this type of pendant done with resin on both sides and bezel set. The resin would give even more depth to the art. The only problem I see is whether the resin would react with the oil or acrylic paint. Anyone have any advice on this?
