Royal Purple Time Piece

Steampunk necklace with a touch of purple

With this piece I took a watch movement and attached it to a modern backing I found at a local craft store.

I then added some color by taking Perfect Pearls Embellishing purple embellishing powder and Elmer's glue.

I added some beads of the same color and chain, viola!

That purple is a fantastic accent for this steampunk piece! It does lend a touch of majesty - I especially love the addition of the bead suspended from the chainwork below the main part of the pendant.
