Seafoam & Silver Necklace

Seafoam & Silver Necklace

I've only been creating jewelry for a few months, but I truly believe I have found my creative calling. I feel like I've learned so much, and yet there is still a ton to learn.

I did all the chain/wire-work in this piece including the clasp which is not pictured. I live at the beach, so right now I am inspired by the summer beachy colors of in the light greens and blues. I'm also doing some fun pendants with shells that we have found and cleaned.

The wire used here is 20g silver plated copper. I used an "S link" style, which is my favorite right now, to hook everything together.

Marci,

Love the summer beachy color of the beads. Also think the wire work is simply fantastic. Thanks for sharing your piece.

What pretty wire work!!!
by: Maryanne Murphy

Hi Marci,

Wow, for a beginner your wire work is amazing...I think you have found your calling too!

Love, love love the beautiful soft seafoam green color glass. So light, airy and beachy enough that you can smell the sea air. Think your wire link work also enhances the airiness of your design.

Good luck on all your future jewelry making endeavors....will look forward to seeing more of your designs!

Maryanne
