Sky on a Chain Necklace Detail of antiqued chain Detail of turquoise and copper pendant

At a recent gem & mineral fair I attended, I purchased a lovely turquoise bead and wanted to design a necklace to showcase it with no other stones.

Lately, I've become enamored with the look of aged copper even though I had sold all my bright and shiny copper bracelets at the fair. So with my usual hammered spirals and wire beads, I designed this chain to support my turquoise bead.

I made it a bit on the long side - about 24" so that the pendant sits just above the cleavage.

Beautiful! I love the elaborate, antiqued chain combined with the simple, rugged stone pendant.

Perfect companion piece for your Spirals and Swirls Bracelet!

Zoraida, your copper swirls are really nice. I'm working on my wire work at the moment and it takes a lot of practise to get them to look like yours. Love the turquoise pendant.

To the spiral master (mistress!)

Love the variations on the spiral --and especially the bail for the pendant. Beautiful piece!

Thank you Kate and Lynda for your gracious comments.

I'm very flattered, Lynda, to be called a "Spiral Master/Mistress". What a great compliment!
