Spider Web Wire Wrapped Pendant

by Mei Tan (WireBliss Design)
(Malaysia)

This is a rounded stone with no hole through it. Spent some time figuring out how to wrap and secure this stone and finally ended up with this "spider web wire wraps".

It does look like spider web when it lies flat. I used two 20ga wires (20ga) for the frame, crossing each other at the center (cross shape) and 28ga wire for weaving.
Thanks for looking :)

I love this stone and am glad that you found a way to use it without putting a hole in.

I really like your wire work, The basket weave gives the piece a very organic look, actually it makes me hungry! LOL
