I recently attended a jewelry party as one of the exhibitors. This was the first event of this kind I ever attended and didn't know quite what to expect. A friend and fellow jewelry artist had invited me and it was for a worthy cause.
It was great! The atmosphere was comfortable - wine and cheese, what more can you ask for. The wonderful ladies who attended were prepared to spend more than they would have at a craft fair and I had set my price point a little higher. A percentage would be collected by the host for this benefit.
This event was worth giving up some of my profits for! Not only did I sell like crazy, but I received orders for some pieces (prepaid in fact). Some of the necklaces I sold had been sitting in my online shop for over a year!
This is one of the necklaces I received a special order for. The same customer also ordered my Garden Patch Bracelet and a matching pair of earrings.
When asked what earrings would go with these, I said "spirals". When in doubt, I make spirals! They go with everything I make.
