Spring Tulip Necklace

Tulip necklace

It's been a long winter here and I had to create something that features my favorite Spring flower! This brass tulip has a soft green verdigris patina that I love.

I added bead caps, a warm honey colored czech glass bead and some brass curlique chain to finish.

Very beautiful necklace. That brass tulip is especially gorgeous. Interesting how something as fragile and delicate as a flower can be captured in aged metal.
