"Starry Night"

by Tammie Everly
(Chantilly VA)

My favorite color is Navy blue. (You would be able to tell that by my wardrobe~ LOL)
I wanted to create something that integrated Navy & also some silver leaf I recently bought.

Seeing a link on 'Pinterest' I tried a new procedure that involved translucent clays in my favorite Mokume Gane technique. I combined the finished beads and focal with dyed navy blue quartz rounds, some clear seed beads and silver plated findings.

I was very happy with the result, it reminded me of a beautiful cold clear winter "Starry Night"

Great colors

Love the colors you used here. I am into blues too and the color and texture of these stones are awesome.

Starry Night

Lovely, Tammie! I like the blues here, and the mokume gane swirls.

This is a view that could go both ways - looking up at the starry night from Earth - and looking down at the blue marble of Earth from the stars.

Thank you for sharing your polymer clay artistry with us!

Thanks
