The Bessie Coleman

The Bessie Coleman

The Bessie Coleman The Amelia Earhart Acosta Angel Wing Steam Punk Pendant The Nellie Bly Steam Punk Pendant

I have designed and named many of my pieces after American Women of the late 1890s and early 1900s who accomplished ground breaking feats for women in many different fields. They had adventuresome personalities; and were pioneers and explorers in many different fields.

The piece I am showing is named after Bessie Coleman who become the first African American, male or female, to earn a pilot's license.

It is my hope that in buying and wearing my jewelry, it can encourage women of our century to be everything they can be in the world today.

12 unique watch parts are on this vintage inspired 2 7/8 inch brass filigree plate. It is decorated with two re-purposed tiny pearls and two swarovski flat backed clear rhinestones. I used E6000 glue to attache the items. They are also finished so they do not tarnish.

This brass finding base is proudly Made in the USA*. This is a reproduction of a Vintage Brass Finding stamped from the original vintage tooling created by master craftsmen in Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts.
