Steampunk Black Watchface and Movement Necklace

Steampunk black watchface necklace

This necklace is quite different than most Steampunk out there.

A finely detailed vintage, jeweled watch movement rests on top of a vintage watchface. This black watchface has gold numeral markers and is 1 1/8" in diameter. It is attached to an antique brass filagree and a brushed gold oval link chain.

Dangling three on each side plus at the neck are little gemstone charms of black Marble stone, black Onyx and tiny gold fill beads. It closes with a gold fill lobster clasp and measures 22".

I have seen the beautiful jewelry being made in the Steampunk genre and am very impressed with the straight forward approach you have taken . Beautiful and classic at the same time !!!
This piece inspires me to jump in and get cracking in my little studio and finish a steampunk piece.I'll post a pic and share when I do.
