Sticks and Stones

Sticks and Stones Peridot and Turquoise Czech Glass Beads Sterling with Czech Glass

These pieces were inspired by the work of Sharilyn Miller, who makes amazing mixed metal jewelry.

These four pair are hand forged copper and sterling silver with handmade ear wires.

The copper wire is again from the garage stash, probably 10-12 gauge. The hardest part of making these pieces is stripping the insulation off the wire!

All of these are wonderful - I could see this line selling well at an art show. I love the mixed-metal look of copper wrapped in silver wire, and your colorful bead dangles at the ends are the perfect touch.

Amazing that some dusty old wire from the back of the garage can be turned into such lovely earrings. It must be so much fun to bash it with a hammer as well!
