Sunset over the Southwest
I purchased the orange beads online and the green spacers at a bead shop on a trip to Arizona.
I loved the colors of the desert and this bracelet was an inspiration of my trip. The beads are chunky square glass beads in a creamy orange color with a silvery crackle.
I love to put a little glitz in most of my jewelry so i used silver glass faceted beads, and the spacer bars are a yummy lime color glass.
I used a silver toggle with a heart to complete the look.
I also covered up the crimps with sterling silver crimp covers for a more finished look.
Making a three strand bracelet is a little tricky.
Because I used all glass beads, I wanted to be sure the bracelet had a nice bend to it when it went over someone's wrist.
I used the smaller round beads to accomplish that. If I would have used all square beads, it would not have laid right over the wrist.
