The desert Mambo necklace
Inspired by a visit to the Sinai desert, this is a mixed media piece made of polymer clay pendant, cream ruffles, patinated copper wire and a piece of coral. The pendant is reversible and all the pieces are strung on copper wire to keep a 'collar' shape, rather than being fluid and too relaxed. The piece of orange coral makes the creamy ruffles pop out at you and the dark patinated freestyle wire segments are asymmetrically placed to add interest to the necklace.
