Maharani's Heart Necklace

Trying to come up with Valentines Day themes I started with this heart, of course, which became a pendant.

I kept adding little things to it - pearls and a faceted red jade bead till I was satisfied.

Since I'm never able to leave things "incomplete", I then created the chain as well.

It didn't turn out as neat as I would have liked but overall, I was happy with the results.

Beautifully intricate wirework. I love the repeated heart motif - and the interesting "white space" shapes that occur around them.

The faceted red jade is exactly the perfect touch!
