Three Colors Spiral Earrings
I love the look of different colored metals in a piece of jewelry.
Lately I find myself more drawn to metals than to beads. It's a phase, I guess.
In these earrings I created my usual spirals but wanted them to dangle a little more so I extended the wire to form waves.
When metal wire is hammered flat and curved, it reminds me of ribbons and the idea of something hard resembling something soft and malleable intrigues me.
I then combined the copper with brass and created earwires of sterling silver.
I hung them on my homemade earring display and was happy with the outcome.
