Multicolored Trilobite Bracelet
This design started while I was working with copper jump rings and a few stones to make a bracelet. I wanted to make a new design for the link between the stones.
After completing a bracelet, I realized that I could use that link with different colored wires, connecting the links one to each other.
To do that I needed to determine what was the best size link to go between the components.
After experimenting with different size jump rings gauges and IDs, I found a good aspect ratio for a jump ring that fit between the links without overpowering the design, yet which allowed the links to move freely.
I went on to experiment with different colored wire using a new product that I discovered at the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee last June.
The color on the wire is very durable and thus was suitable for bracelet.
Adding my own handmade clasp to the design completed the project.
