Turquoise pendents

by Rochelle Hughes
(Red Deer, AB, Canada)

These are some of my past works. I found these beautiful North American turquoise free forms and I really wasn't sure of what I wanted to do with them, I had the idea in my head that turquoise had to look western, not that there is anything wrong with western style, it is not a style that comes easy to me. So here is my interpretation of western style jewelry. I hope for honest opinions on these pieces.

Thank you for looking!

I really like this piece. Great detail.

Awesome wirework

Rochelle, every time I see your newest work I think, Wow - this is even more incredible than her other pieces!

These two turquoise and wire pendants are stunning - your wirework is the perfect touch for these rugged stones. Your handmade chains are fabulous as well, and you did a fantastic job of matching your chain styles to your pendant wirework. I particularly like the chain you created for the oval turquoise pendant.

Your wire jewelry is really a show-stopper. Are you selling it anywhere? If not, I know that people would definitely stop and look at what you've got. And your stuff is unique enough to attract collectors.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for your kind complements of my work. I feel humbled to have your opinion.

Rena, thank you so much for your educated opinion of my jewelry, I 'm so happy that you find my stuff good enough to attract a collector. I have always felt very insecure of my work, feeling that it's not good, I know it is dumb to think like that but it is something I need to work on. So I thank you for opening my eyes! And no I don't have an outlet for my work just a handful of great customers in my town of Red Deer, Alberta.
