Turquoise Tassel Necklace

I've had these incredible Sleeping Beauty Turquoise beads for a while. Their matrix free, robins' egg blue color is so intense they mesmerize.

Not knowing when I will find such turquoise again, I use my precious beads sparingly.

Because the color is so eye catching, I wanted to keep the design simple and added only a long tassel made with multi colored and turquoise beads.

It may sound silly, but it reminds me of Mexico, the colors I saw everywhere and ladies dancing. The copper wire lends a warm, sunset glow.

So these Mexican ladies are dancing at sunset.
