Jana Trupovniece's artistry provides a frame and a story for Nancy van den Boom's painting

A fabulously stylish artistic collaboration

This wearable art piece is the result of creative collaboration of two artists - Jana Trupovniece and Nancy van den Boom.

The story started with a vibrant miniature oil painting of a tree travelling for over 2000 km from Nancy's cosy studio in the Netherlands to Jana's place in Finland, where the delicate painting was adorned with tiny glass seed beads.

Under the beautiful painting of the tree you will also find a vintage metal leaf element from Jana's unusual treasure collection and a small red jasper cabochon.

The pendant measures 2 7/8" x 1 1/2" (7.3 x 3.8 cm), including beaded bail, and it is backed with natural red leather.

It hangs from a 20 1/2" (52 cm) long silver grey twisted silk cord with knot and loop closure.

Handmade in the Netherlands and Finland.

Gorgeous collaboration

OOOOOH! What a stunning combination of the work of two artists. I sat here admiring this pendant for quite a while, studying all the incredible details.

The painting and the frame embellishment enhance and complement each other so well. Just WOW!

Jana and I have a wonderful collaboration started, much more to come! My tiny paintings are on their way to Finland now and Jana will be surprised me with her design around the painting.

BTW the necklace was sold after 2 days in my shop, and is almost with it's new owner in the US now!
