Wine bottle stopper with bling

I love a good disco. I found this large rhinestone bead and just couldn't resist... and I knew exactly what I would create from it!

I love to create wine bottle stoppers and I love to see them doing their job on top of a bottle. Sometimes they are rustic or natural and sometimes they are glitzy with a lot of bling. I feel they are little pieces of art!

This stopper was created using a large rhinestone bead as the focal, then I wire wrapped jet crystals around the remaining part of the mandrel. I love the exposed wire, it adds a bit of edge.

Definitely a conversation piece

I've never seen such a sparkly, joyful wine bottle stopper before! This is the coolest idea and would make a wonderful gift.

The wirework is awesome, and the bead choices are fab!

BTW, is that you I spy reflected in the very top of the stopper? If so, it's a cool self-portrait of the artist with her creation.
