Black jet Victorian button necklace Junk shop find turned into a treasure of a necklace

I have a passion for digging around flea markets & antique shops.

I came upon a bag full of black jet Victorian buttons in a tiny junk shop.

I cleaned up the buttons and began attaching them to an antiqued brass rollo chain.

The black rhinestone flowers are from a 1950's brooch.

I snipped off the "flowers", made small loops and attached the rhinestones among the buttons.

The clasp is accented with black Swarovski bi-cone crystals.

That bag of buttons must have been fun to find! And fun to work with.

What a wonderful new life you've given them, all shined-up and sparkling on this lovely necklace.
