Vintage brass Catholic cross adorns a rustic bracelet

I found this really cool vintage brass Catholic cross in a small antique / collectibles store along the Central Coast of California. I knew when I saw it that I just HAD to buy it, knowing I wanted to add it to a rustic bracelet.

When I got it home and started looking through my beads, I found these antiqued Soochow Jade 10mm round beads and really liked the combination of earthiness and rusticity.

The Bali brass spacer rondelles add just a little brightness to the bracelet.

Perfect together

I love how this piece turned out - the rustic, muted rainbow of chunky beads are perfect with this wonderful vintage cross. And the brass spacers are just right to carry out the aged warm brass of the cross.

Beautiful combinations - The subtle colors in the jade beads and the lovely warm metal blend perfectly with the cross.

I love the old/vintage look of this bracelet. This has a classy, ethnic (and a little gypsy) look about it.
