Chainmaille, czech crystals, faux pearls and glass beads
I wanted to make hoop earrings with an edge. I've been inspired by gold lately and since I had to make a custom jewellery for someone who adores all things gold and big, I decided that this is a perfect time to experiment.
After several trials and errors with the chainmaille (this is the first time I've used chainmaille!), I gave in to what the chainmaille wanted me to do, as it refused to form a perfect hoop.
The result is this peridot-like shape, and I am glad I let go of my persistence and started following what the material wanted to do with this piece.
Materials: gold plated chainmaille, czech crystals, faux pearls, glass beads
