Vintage spoon pendant - Friendship

Sure to please, this charming necklace is a recycled vintage spoon that has been hammered flat with the word "Friendship" stamped on the front.

Next to it is a black and white fabric flower and hanging at the top of the spoon are two dangles of Black Onyx, Rose Quartz and Crystal.

The 20" chain is a combination of silver filigree balls and tiny black tubes. It closes at the neck with a sterling lobster clasp and gemstone dangle.

Love all the special details of this necklace from the fabric flower to the complimentary chain. If you don't mind a question? I have tried to hammer a silver plated spoon flat on a steel bench block and made a total mess of it. Unhappy spoon! Do you have any tips for a more successful try at it?

Hi Lynda,
I also use a block with a wash cloth over it so the spoon doesn't slide around and vibrate so much. Put the bowl side down and use a chasing hammer.

This is adorable, anything vintage is great and i think would be a big seller.I had a question for ya, Where did you get your letters from???I love them.I am still learning on this , and have not found any i have actually liked yet.Thanks for your time and keep up the good work

Hi Audra,
Thanks so much for the feedback. These are standard capital letter punches by Pittsburgh. I primarily use 1/8" for most stamping and the capital "F" is 3/8". Best of luck to you!
