I thought I'd try my hand ( no pun intended) at making some rings. I wanted my rings to be big and bold, fabulous to wear when you need some whimsy or just feeling playful.
The first ring I used a quartz crystal, 16ga. sterling silver and 26ga. sterling silver. Second ring I used a free form North American turquoise cab. 16ga, 24ga sterling silver. I antiqued the ring with a hard boiled egg to give the dark patina.
The third ring I used a boulder opal, 16ga,26ga sterling silver.
I had lots of fun doing these rings and I used all my smaller pieces of 16ga that I had left over from other projects.
