Big, dramatic necklace of coppery-pink pearl shapes attracts admirers
Like many followers here I had a lifestyle change. An injury got me off my feet and I was worried that I couldn't be effective at my job.
Out came the beads, I ran out for a business license and hoped that my pieces would sell.
It's now been 10 years and sales keep getting better and better.
I have a very loyal following and make new friends/clients at every show I do.
Most of my pieces are large and quite bulky - not for everyone.
I learned fast that it was a lose/lose proposition to try to do that.
This piece was a lot of fun to make.
It uses fun misshapen pearls from my favorite California dealer: Wendy Masterson at East West Best Trading Co., small vintage aurora borealis lavender colored accents and complementary seed beads for filler.
The shape reminds me of pumpkin seeds and the color is a burnished copper with a rosy pink patina.
I have several other pieces at my site.
