Wire Coil Bangle

Brass and copper bangle bracelet Junked parts from discarded bracelets, turned into a new bangle

I've always loved bangle bracelets and worn a variety of them but found it difficult to make one that was comfortable enough to wear all the time. I tend to leave my bracelet on indefinitely.

After several attempts, I had collected several discarded parts of these bracelets. Since I often go through my "junked" stash, I found a brass coiled section and added my copper wire "beads", more coils, made a clasp and dipped it in liver of sulphur.

As it turned out, the bracelet would only fit a small wrist of about 6" - just right for me. Of course, I kept it. I haven't taken it off for several weeks.

I did make another, similar bangle in a bigger size for my online shop. That one has brass wire beads with copper coils.

I absolutely love this bracelet and my wrists are tiny as well! Great job and I love the reuse of parts! ;)
