Wire Wrapped Heart Brooch

The design and inspiration for this wire wrapped heart brooch is actually from my Client. I executed it with wire and adorn it with stones (teardrop shaped agate), seed pearl, and Swarovski Crystal.

The heart frame was shaped and hammered to harden and make it springy so that the pin will stay in place. Otherwise, the weaving, coiling and wrapping of stones is quite organic. Just follow where the wire takes me :)

Oh my goodness, Mei, this is an incredible brooch. I am mesmerized by all the lovely wrapping within the heart, the pearls and briolettes - and the beautiful lines of the main wire frame.
