Wooden Flower Necklace
My jewelry is inspired by tropical South Florida. This teardrop polymer clay pendant makes me think of a carved wood flower.
Yellow-gold, light brown and gray petals create a raised flower pattern on a dark brown base.
A dot pattern has been impressed into the base and antiqued with buff acrylic paint.
The pendant has been cured, hand sanded and buffed to a soft shine.
A gold plated Aanraku bail holds the pendant on to a 17" strand of wood, brown tiger eye, metal and scenic jasper cube beads.
Antique gold lobster claw closure.
