Zodiac Birthstones

The zodiac birthstones, also sometimes called astral stones, vary a bit from one culture to another.

The chart is based on an ancient philosophy connecting astrology and colored stones. Each astral sign was thought to be connected to the energies of specific natural stones, based on color.

Wearing the stone of a certain sign was considered to be a pathway to influencing the heavens in specific ways.

There's a bit of overlap between this zodiac gem chart and the traditional birthstone chart.

The lore of the ancient astral stones likely influenced the more recent stone lists.

But regardless of which gems the various charts assign to us, most of us have our own personal favorite stones we like to wear!
